Women’s Grade : Match Report

GRADE MATCH REPORT
In spite of 95 mls of rain falling overnight at Concord Golf Club our grade team played today against The Lakes. It rained all morning but the course was in terrific condition.
We had an excellent day winning 4 1/2 to 1/2.
Sally turned square and then won five holes on the trot to win 5/4.
Skye skipped and smiled her way to win 1 up. She had a battle early and managed to sink a 6 ft downhill putt on 18 to retain her 1 up.
Jane played beautiful golf to be 3 up early but her opponent pegged her back on the back nine. She held on and squared her match.
Katrina had a day out, 3 over the card and won 6/5.
Les was her usual determined self and won 3/1.
