In a landscape I am always captivated by light and shade and there are few better places to experience this than a golf course with immaculate, undulating fairways, greens and bunkers bordered by bush and manicured gardens.

My favourite time of day is the late afternoon when the shadows are long and the course is quiet.
Among many ideal spots around Pymble the sixteenth hole captures these elements the best.

I am very grateful to Adrian Logue for working with me in selecting the ideal location and time of day as a reference point and importantly providing me with an excellent selection of material from which to work.
